I could talk fashion until the end of the world. When my house burned down taking most of my treasures with it, I had a rare opportunity to redo my wardrobe with an educated mind about what looks good on me and being of an ripening age picking pieces that will last forever and not forever21.
I spend at least 4-6 hours a day reading, blogging, studying, & learning about what is going on it fashion. I learned about Pantone the company that comes out with colors of the year, plua their accent friends. I learned about the art of bespoke on Savoy Road. An art form slowly slipping away into the ether until Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney and our Olsen twins, from The Row wanted to learn the art form that is about construction, pattern, form, shape. There are artisans out there that keep the traditions alive, like the wonderful woman whom still makes the fabric in a cord for the Chanel suits she has been doing for over 50 years. I have had more fun finding the good finds, listening to the experts about what every woman should have in her closet. Trench coat, black pants, black pumps, white shirt, khakis, we all know the rest. Then I got to get to the fun part, the part about what my own personality needs for it's express of style. Erdem, Edun, Mary Kart, Celine with Phobe Philo at the helm. Classic pieces from her newest collections, Marni for my quirky artistic side, Walter, Miha, Derek Lam's Charley Tote I feel so lucky, Calvin Klein's nude platform pumps thanks to the Duchess of Cambridge, MuiMui for the fun and stylishness and finally Tracy Reese, Imitation, Zac Posen & his ruched pirate shirt and  for amazing Dresses so much more to share. I will have a new walk in closet to design for my new wardrobe and can't thank all the people who helped me from Gilt, Outnet, Neiman Marcus, J.Crew, Target, Garment District, Farfetch.com, Yoox, and Payless Shoes. These sales people were graceful & thoughtful about helping me pick the right things. Thank you all
