the slouchy boot....my new obsession

Lately I have been a bit crazy about the slouchy boot. This design I am loving, and for the lucky few with a smaller shoe size than mine you can have a pair like the pix from Urban Outfitters. LD Tuttle made these boots and if you do a little search you'll find other killer shoes by them at OAK and other outlets. The Miz Mooz green boot comes in a range of colors and can be bought at Nordstroms. The genesis of this new look came from a pair of Vivenne Westwood pirate boots from her 2007 Fall collection. It would look great with flirty skirts, the 2009 crazied jumpsuit trend and the best with some skinny jeans. Take a chance with this look. Want unique, go with a slouchy bootie!

Target Target Target

So Target is one of Colorado's biggest resources for high end designers at low prices. The latest to come to the big spot is Felix Ray and Miss Trish. Felix Ray's collection of purses is following the trend of the bag is bigger than the buyer. You take a look at the celebrities and socials, and you'll see what I mean these suckers are big. They also have these cute clutches, one with a coral theme, the other a blue wavey thing going that could be used year round. Some of the bigger tote have that kind of cheese factor, like the coral one, and the fish one out of control unless your a 70 year old lady living in Palm Beach. I would stay with the basic totes, no flash, or the cute blue tote with the shell closure. Now Miss Trish the sandel queen has made 6 diff versions of the summer sandal. I am going with the simple white sandal with a cute blue fish, it's the smallest embellishment. The lion sandal is cute but I worry the metal on top will cause blisters. Lookout for next months designer Loomstate, with their organic cotton line, the first looks are perfect for Colorado and our outdoor living ways. There will be boys clothes as well as very cute girls line.

Alexander McQueen at Target

Ok so April 4th came around and Alexander McQueen came to 1 store in Colorado. The biggest ticket item the black vest was nowhere to be found, I had ordered thank god, I bought the asymmetrical gray dress, wore by Elisha Dushka, the wickedly cute t-shirt tunic with the punk band Dukes of Spirit on it, the simple black bikini with metal studs, the black legging with zippers, the collection definer, a black t-shirt with his muse on the front, and the crazy pink & black geo printed t-shirt and leggings as well. If McQ is designing I am buying. Also in the collection is a upbeat, modernized jacket and trousers with an unusual colored top to go with. There are several pieces that can happily expand a wardrobe without the heavy price tag. Sorry to say most of the good stuff went fast. You can still order the fifties inspired strapless blue tatoo dress with a simple leather studded skinny belt at a discount. One of the best items, a washed out grey jean jacket with a 80's metal studded thing is gone. I bought 2 of the best things, for my nieces, and also some to sale on my website. I am the collector.
