Fashion's Met Gala goes Techno & Comfort with a few surprises

Cathy Horyn's take on the biggest night in fashion
Emma Stone with Alber Elbaz in his Lanvin creation that is waterproof Red confection

Emma was quite at home having other attendee's check out this modern marvel

One of her favorite designers "and the thin sliver of Cate Blanchett in a black feathered McQueen dress, with tiny, elongating pencil lines at the corners of her eyes. Once or twice the actress contently patted her flat tummy, and then headed toward dinner with the sureness of a woman whose dress or Spanx will never be in her way." Cathy Horyn

Marc Jacob in Comme de Garcon with his white boxers and his own Piligram shoes made quite a statement

Muiccia Prada chose pants a refreshing look of her own design, comfort, elegant and ahead of the fashion curve.

as did Stella McCartney with her own look, seemingly relaxed, comfortable and in place with her own selection. Cameron Diaz dazzling even with phototog not picturing her could not be missing in her silver gown of bubbles.

Jack in the Box Teaser on Vimeo

We started filming in Palmer Lake at the Estermere Estates

first day was all sunshine and great weather then the snow and a blizzard hit, it is a great Ray Bradbury gem short story that Alex Gray has brought to life. It is so original, thought provoking, creepy and at the same time understandable to a point. You'll have to see for yourself.

The Equalizer comes in many fabrics, articles of clothing, vests, bodices, cami's but it is about to go stark raving crazed

This is what I am stark raving mad about in fashion: The Equalizer

Lanvin's embellished wrap around vest in monochromatic cream with embellishments of flowers with silk stems, shell buttons for shine and the delicacy of the material makes the top all the more precious. When anyone women takes this top and adds it to her ensemble the waist becomes the center point of view and this piece nicely draws all the extra material in so that no matter the size or shape, the outfit has proportion and with embellishments to draw the attention another trick of the trade, most will be admiring the treats sewn on with such care and all silk. This piece is a game changer and I believe fashion will start bringing out this bodice type pieces for more shape, more thirds, more proportion. As Tim Gunn says it so well, "Make it work" this helps it work so very easily.

It's Very Red, large & you could carry a child in it

Red, Tomato, Fire Engine, Blood the color of the season no matter what color is as intense as it can be
Even the leisure more causal fair is blow away by color so loud and large one must look must pay attention say goodbye neutrals hello solar flare

Emma Stone looked ravishing at the Oscars in her Giambattista Valli dress redder than the carpet

HauteCouture made sure it's dyes were simple & strong

The style rookie moving out of her washed out phase of grey hair into a more saturated look as to go noticed instead of the wallpaper girl moving the fashion world from back page to Front Headlines with verve & vice. What is to come, I personally can't wait such a swing in the pendulum. That always foreshadows stormy weather.

Takes 1 to know 1

                                            tavi gevinson (tavitulle) on Twitter

a face of the adroit teen listing a black painted room, do not enter passe sign on door, messy,  passively and passive-aggressively "playing" games with her friends. I hope they are assertive as well. Passive-aggressive cleverness can bore quickly. When one is young and "seems older than their years" they must facade away, contempt mainstream while dialing into all that is. A contradiction. Most likely her revelry each morning anti-matter of cool. Like Du Champ make whatever is in your path "it"

lovely treasures on Tavi's blog, I don't get along with her writing because it's mostly like mine. I don't see the need to take novelty and super size it. People are so afraid of being in the not known they embrace the ephemeral without question.

Shaya Durbin Jewelry

I am in love with this artist and her work. Lois Hill was the first silversmith to use bubbles in her rings, necklaces and bracelets. Shaya takes it to a new level a major upgrade
